“Oh Isabelle, I can see it now!”
“Mom…don’t do i-”
“You and Josh will come over with your children! And we’ll have a room for them ready! You have to get married first though, then have children.” I finish mixing up the dressing and see Josh mouthing ‘I’m sorry’ as his mother keeps talking about babies.
‘I’ll find out next week…Grandma Hutcherson.’ I think to myself.

Chapter 19: You In?

                              *Isabelle’s P.O.V*

“RISE AND SHINE SLEEPY HEADS! TODAY IS A BUSY DAY!” I hear as someone bangs on the bedroom door. I groan and turn onto my side, pulling a pillow over my head. 

         ”We’re up ma, we’re up!” Josh calls from the bathroom door. I lift up my head and open one eye to look at the clock. ‘9:00 am?!’ I think to myself. I lie there for a little while until I remember what happened last night. After our make-out session in his car, we drove back to his house and had sex in his parent’s foyer. To make it even worse, I’m positive I saw Connor watching us for a few seconds. I sit up quickly and jump out of bed. I grab my bathrobe off of the wall and run to the bathroom. It wasn’t until I ran into Josh when I finally decided to look up. All he’s wearing is his bathrobe with his towel in his hand. His light blonde hair is wet and he’s flashing his gorgeous smile at me. “Good morning beautiful.” He kisses me on the cheek and moves to his dresser. “Are you okay?” he asks as he’s pulling out striped blue boxers. 

        “I’m trying to impress your family, and this is how I do it? Having loud sex with you the night before and then sleeping in the next day? Not to mention your brother saw us having sex IN THE FOYER!” I walk into the bathroom that’s in his bedroom and slam the door. I hear Josh start laughing and he opens the door. I walk over to the toilet and sit down on it. Josh walks over to me and kneels down in front of me. 

       ”They understand that you’re going to try. Like I said, I love you, which means they’ll love you. Besides, they were awake when we did it. They didn’t bother with us though because of the fact that we’re young and in love. So stop worrying about it, okay?” I sit quietly for a while before I nod my head. He pulls me up and pushes me towards the shower. “Go take your shower. I’ll have breakfast ready when you come out.” He kisses my nose and then leaves the bathroom, closing the door. I stay in the shower for a good 20 minutes, letting the memory of last night fill my mind as the water hits my body. After I get dressed in black shorts, a purple sports bra and a white loose fitting t-shirt, I make my way up to the kitchen. Just as Josh promised, breakfast is hot and ready, and its waiting for me. He made the usual egg and pancakes. I sit down at the table while Josh is talking to his parents. As I’m finishing up breakfast, Josh walks over to me.

      “What’s up?” I say as I shovel scrambled eggs into my mouth.

      “Everyone is going leave to go shopping with my parent’s for Thanksgiving at noon, do you wanna go?” 

      “Of course I do! It’ll be so much fun! What are we gonna do before we go?” I notice Josh run down to his room without a word to me. After 5 minutes of pure silence and some rustling going about in his room, Josh comes out in shorts and a baggy tank top with a basketball in his hands. 

      “I figured we could play some ball before we leave.”

As we go out into the driveway, I can’t help but talk about how I’m going to beat him. Josh brings out his docking station and plugs in his iPhone. The song “Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress)” by the Hollies starts to play. Josh sways his hips as he walks over to the basketball net. 

      “Are you ready to get shot down by the man?” he says jokingly while bouncing the ball. “We’re gonna play by making single point shots, okay?” I tighten my pony tail and bend my knees. 

      “Bring it on little man.” We immediately start the game with me making a basket. 

      “I let you get that point.” Josh mumbles.

       ”Yeah, okay.” By 11:15 and our bodies aching, we decide to end the game. The score at the end was 50-20. I had the winning number, of course. 

      “Next…time..” Josh says, out of breath.”I’m…gonna…try…harder.”

     ”Yeah you do that.” I say jokingly. We’re about to go back inside when we hear his mother calling to us.

     ”Hey Josh? Can you take your Jeep? We’re going to need more room with the stuff we’re buying.”

    “Yeah alright!” he calls back. He turns back to me and stares at me. “Do you think you can clean out my Jeep? There’s not much in it.”

    “No problem, just pick out a pair of jeans and a shirt for me.” I quickly run over to where we parked the Jeep last night, and start cleaning. As he said, there’s nothing in the car. Just some papers that I have to bring in. While I’m cleaning it out, I find the box of condoms from the last night. I’m about to put it in the arm rest between the driver and passenger seat, when I realize something very crucial. The box was never opened last night…and Josh didn’t have any condoms on him while we had sex.
